A true story... with Shakepaspearian end

Mamadou, a young man of Guinean origin, contacted the Tracing service of the Red Cross Flanders in order to locate his fiancée Fatoumata, from whom he was separated almost three years ago in Conakry. He only recently arrived in Belgium and thinks his girlfriend might have found refuge in somewhere in Europe, but he has no idea where exactly. After registering with the Red Cross, the Tracing service initiates a search for Fatoumata. On very short notice, the sought person is located... in Belgium! Both had fled their country of origin and miraculously ended up in the same safe haven. At the request of the traced person, the reunion took place in Mechelen, at the headquarters of the Red Cross Flanders. After three long years, Mamadou and Fatoumata rushed into each other's arms. The never expected reunion involved tears of happiness and an African expression of joy. And there is no end to the good news... When the couple was separated in dire circumstances, the young lady was already five months pregnant. So, on that day, Mamadou not only found back his fiancée, but he could also take his three year old son Ibro in his arms for the first time...
